- Three shows Held in Conjunction to Lead the Trend of Industry This morning, Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS), Industrial Automation Show (IAS) and Energy Show (ES) of China International Industry Fair 2009 grandly kicked off at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The three shows attract than 1,025 exhibitors to showcase their state-of-the-art products and technologies of metalworking, machine tools, automation and energy technology on a total display area of 75,000 square meters. The 5-day show is expecting more than 100,000 visitors from home and abroad to seek business opportunities. “The fact that the shows buck the depressing economic trend to grow reflects that China’s economy is embracing an early recovery and industries start to grow again. With the introduction of the National Plan for Adjusting and Revitalizing the Equipment Manufacturing Industry by Chinese government early this year, the market is breeding huge opportunities for basic industries and large-scale equipment manufacturing industry. The three shows held in conjunction will provide domestic and international suppliers with a perfect platform to showcase their products and expand the Chinese market. ”states Dr. Andreas Gruchow, member of the board at Deutsche Messe AG. With a feature of numerical-control, precision and high efficiency, MWCS 2009 presents a series of metal forming machines which include sheet metal cutting machines, CNC Turret Punching machines, punch and shear presses, automatic production line, CNC bending machines and bending center, etc. The show also embraces exhibitors in the sector of metal cutting machine tools among which were UMPF, Bystronic, Mitsubishi, Mazak, Hanslaser, Jiangsu Yawei, JINAN JFMMRI JIEMAI, LFK, Tailift, etc.. They have brought their key products like lathes, machine centers, grinding machines and boring-milling machines. Besides, manufacturers have also showed their state-of-the-art products of fixture, measuring machines, digital control system and machine tool accessories during the trade fair. As the largest and most professional show for the automation sector, IAS 2009 scintillates the charisma of the industry by providing an ideal trading platform for manufacturers, dealers and buyers.
